Ils ont pris leur temps, mais Columbia Music a finalement décidé de publier la bande originale de Romeo × Juliet, la première prestation de Hitoshi Sakimoto dans le domaine de l'anime ! En ce qui me concerne, j'attends tout ça avec impatience depuis que j'ai entendu ceci. Vous voyez un peu comment Sakimoto est génial quand il s'allie avec un orchestre ? Pour plus de Sakimoto "frais", il va falloir attendre le 20 février. Voilà quelques détails en plus et la liste des pistes :

It took them long enough, but Columbia Music has finally decided to release a soundtrack for Romeo × Juliet, Hitoshi Sakimoto's first effort as an anime composer! As far as I am concerned, I have been looking forward to this ever since I first heard this. See how brilliant Sakimoto is when he joins forces with an orchestra? For more "fresh" Sakimoto, you will have to wait until February 20th. Here are more details and the tracklisting:

Une Eminence qui ne grise pas

Le nom Eminence n'a pas pu échapper à l'amateur de VGM ces dernières années. L'orchestre australien est en effet très actif, et, pour notre plus grand plaisir, leurs sélections ne se basent pas nécessairement sur les musiques de jeux ou animes connus, mais plutôt sur de la belle musique, peu importe d'où elle vient. Maintenant, ils font également des enregistrements, ce qui leur donne encore plus d'influence. L'année dernière, ils ont enregistré la bande époustouflante écrite par Hitoshi Sakimoto pour l'anime Romeo × Juliet. Pour le moment, aucune bande originale n'a été annoncée, ce qui est fort dommage. Leur prochaine collaboration avec Sakimoto vient d'être annoncée : 戦場のヴァルキュリア (senjô no valkyria, "valkyria du champ de bataille"), un jeu PlayStation 3 de Sega. Apparemment, ils n'ont pas enregistré toute la bande son, comme on eut l'entendre dans cette vidéo, dans laquelle seul le passage central semble orchestré.

Pour en revenir à leurs concerts, le CD de Destiny: Dreamer's Alliance est désormais disponible au Japon via le site Internet d'Eminence. Le quintette avec piano a déjà interprété sa sélection de musiques de Yasunori Mitsuda et Hitoshi Sakimoto au Japon, en Australie et en Amérique du Nord. Eminence is a name any common VGM lover has encountered a lot in the past few years. The Australian orchestra is indeed very active, and, to our greatest enjoyement, their selections are not necessarily based on music from popular games or anime, but rather on beautiful music, wherever it comes from. Now, they also record music, giving them even more influence. Last year, they recorded Hitoshi Sakimoto's outstanding score for the anime Romeo × Juliet. As of now, no soundtrack release has been announced, which is a pity. There next collaboration with Sakimoto has just been announced: 戦場のヴァルキュリア (senjô no valkyria, "valkyria of the battlefield"), a PlayStation 3 game by Sega. Apparently, they did not record the whole soundtrack, as you can notice in this trailer, in which only the central part sounds orchestrated.

To go back to their concerts, a CD for Destiny: Dreamer's Alliance is now available in Japan through Eminence's website. The piano quintet already performed their selection of works by Yasunori Mitsuda and Hitoshi Sakimoto in Japan, Australia, and North America.
