Deux bandes originales de Square Enix le même jour. Est-ce un rêve ? Ce pourrait bien en être un, si vous êtes fan de Dragon Quest ou de Takeharu Ishimoto. Autrement, le 22 août restera sans doute une journée normale. Ou sera un jour cauchemardesque, pour certains d'entre vous (je sais qu'Ishimoto est très populaire). Voyons voir ce qui va apparaître ce jour-là.

Dragon Quest Swords Original Soundtrack

Deux bandes originales de genres différents, puisque si Dragon Quest risque de conserver le style orchestral de la série (même si Manami Matsumae a apparemment composé tous les nouveaux thèmes), It's a Wonderful World s'apprête à devenir la première OST hip-hop de Square Enix, même s'il y aura aussi du rock et de la techno. Même si le jeu est sur DS, il contiendra des chansons.

Deux d'entre elles étaient présentes sur un disque promotionnel offert pendant la Square Enix Part de mai : "Twister" et "Give me all your love", cette dernière étant sans doute chantée par Satoko Amikura. Vous ne la connaissez peut-être pas, mais elle a prêté sa voix à "Emptiness And" d'Ishimoto (sur le Square Enix Music Official Bootleg vol.1). C'est plutôt pas mal, je trouve.

Two different kind of soundtracks indeed, since Dragon Quest will surely retain the orchestral feel of the series -- even if Manami Matsumae has apparently composed all the new themes, while It's a Wonderful World is bound to become the first hip-hop score from Square Enix, although rock and techno music are also expected. Even if the game runs on Nintendo DS, it will feature songs.

Two of them were present on a promo CD given during the Square Enix Party, in May: "Twister" and "Give me all your love", the latter being probably sung by Satoko Amikura. You may not know her, but she lend her voice to Ishimoto's "Emptiness And" (Square Enix Music Official Bootleg vol.1). Pretty nice, I would say.
